Okay so I promised pictures!

I know I said that I would put up pictures of the new house when it was done, but I honestly do not think it will ever be done!! UGH the trials of home ownership. So I will put up pictures soon.

We are headed to finish buying the items we need for the house tonight.

The other two properties we own (yes we are crazy and owned three houses at once) have finally sold. Well almost sold. We signed yesterday on one ( that we have had under contract for 2 1/2 months waiting to sign), and we have the other one (trailer and land) under contract. However we are still negociating with the couple on fixing problems with the trailer. They want us to fix the stuff and since we are not making any money on the deal, actually losing with closing costs, we don't want to fix any of it. We will see how that goes.

Okay enough about the various houses. Back to the fun stuff, job hunting. So it is not really fun, but you gotta do it when you want a job. I have gone on one interview, yes just one in the whole month I have been here and looking, at a private school. I am waiting on a call for a second interview, but I am not sure that I would even take it if they offered me the postion. I know you are probably thinking that I am crazy because I have been complaining about the hiring freeze and no interviews. The thing is that private schools in this area pay about half of what public school pays, making my pay just a little over minium wage. Not to mention having to pay for daycare. Plus at this school, since it is so small, I would be the only English teacher, which is fine, but I would have 6 different classes all day, which is a lot to plan for. So I am not sure about what to do, if I even get offered the job.

On a side note, C loves the house and the new city and so do I. We go to story time once a week and the park once a week. We have bought C a "big girl" bed and I am attempting to get her to sleep in it. Today was the first day and after lots of patting, rocking, and cuddling. This is what I got:

Doesn't she look like such a big girl! I promise to upload pictures soon of the new house.
